What to pack for a cruise -

Days onboard a cruise ship or in port are casual and you'll be best to bring with you comfortable clothes and resort wear. Warm weather clothing like linens, shorts, t-shirts and bathing suits are all the norm while cruising in the Caribbean. Sneakers or flat-heeled shoes are best for days walking in town or onboard while participating in deck activities or just lying by the pools. Bring a few swimsuits so you'll always have a dry one. You don't have to bring towels, as they are provided for you at no cost. But don't forget your cameras so you don't miss a thing. Beach gear is recommended as well.to be prepared you can bring your own sun screen lotion, snorkels, swimmies for the kids, and goggles. During the days onboard or in port, comfort is key.

If dressing up is more your style, you will have your opportunity to do so as there will be different dress nights while onboard. You will have at least 2 Formal nights during a 7 day cruise and up to 3 on longer sailings. The formal nights are usually the Captain's Welcome Aboard and Farwell nights, where the Captain will be formally introduced to the voyagers and a farewell dinner to thank you for traveling on his vessel. Formal attire can consist of dark suits and ties all the way to tuxedos for men. Women usually will wear an evening dress and some will even wear gowns. Your comfort is your preference.

The other nights you will be able to dine in more casual attire. Jackets and dress pants, nice shirts and shoes are welcome. Women wear pants or skirts. There is no need for formal dress on these nights. Jeans are not recommended. However, smaller children can still wear clothes that will make then comfortable at any occasion and allow parents to enjoy themselves.
