Cruise Holidays of Marlboro wants you to know CRUISING is your best vacation value in 2009

Cruising is your best vacation value in 2009 and here’s why:

Cruise Holidays of Marlboro wants you to know cruising is a great value. After all, with a cruise, you get a whole vacation – from meals and lodging to world-class entertainment – wrapped up in one nice price. With new promotions, more land-package add-ons and an expanded variety of shore excursions at competitive prices, 2009 cruises take the value even further. And if you’re considering a European vacation, the savings add up even more quickly since you pay for your cruise in dollars rather than euros. But value isn’t all about cost. And while there are plenty of bargains to be had, if you’re looking for things a little harder to put a price on – like having a crew member remember your favorite drink and greet you by name or finding a warm cookie beside your bed at the end of the day – cruises deliver those more intangible values too. It’s a competitive business, and that means you, as the consumer, win, as every cruise line strives to offer you the best service as well as the best value. Of course, that service begins as soon as you visit Cruise Holidays of Marlboro, and we’re ready to offer you peace of mind in addition to an array of vacation options. From handling the nitty-gritty details to finding exclusive amenities, we’ll make sure your cruise is right, right from the start. And that’s definitely a value-added attraction. So when you’re ready to plan that hard-earned vacation, talk to Cruise Holidays of Marlboro and let us help you make sense of the dollars and cents and show you just how much value there is in a cruise.

Here is what’s new in cruising and a few other reasons to sail away in 2009.

Take a number of new ships, throw in some intriguing new itineraries, add a dash of out-of-the-box amenities, stir with some unbelievable pricing, and you have a very exciting 2009 cruise season.

Exceptional Cruise Values in 2009. Cruise lines are offering some of the lowest cruise rates in years. Lines are offering extra enticements such as shipboard credits, cabin upgrades, and even special rates on airfares. And with the dollar doing better against the euro and looking positively robust against many African and South American currencies, cruising is the best travel bargain in the world in 2009!

New Cruise Ships in 2009, promise to make another outstanding year of new ships and higher standards of public spaces, cabins, and shipboard entertainment. Celebrity continues introducing its Solstice class ships with the Celebrity Equinox, carrying 2,950 guests. The line will continue the rollout with annual launches through 2012. Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas enters it first full year of service as the largest passenger ship ever carrying 5,400 passengers and with dazzling features such as an indoor Central Park and an Aqua Theater. Seabourn welcomes the 450 passenger Odyssey and two sister ships in 2010 and 2011. Princess, Silversea, and Carnival are also adding to their fleets.

Special Spaces onboard cruise ships is the newest rage in the creation of ever more unique areas onboard. Princess is introducing The Sanctuary on some of its ships, an adults-only outdoor space with “serenity stewards,” special beverages, al-fresco massages, and double lounges for couples. On Carnival, the adults-only area is labeled Serenity Retreat, a secluded part of the deck with special chaise lounges and whirlpools for sea gazing, napping, or just a quiet break from the kids. Celebrity’s newest ship, the Solstice, moves in a different direction with the Lawn Club and Patio, a half-acre of real grass for cruisers who want the feel of something decidedly earthy between their toes between ports.

Interesting Amenities available onboard and there really doesn’t seem to be any limit to the imagination of cruise ship planners when it comes to shipboard diversions. Some examples: Royal Caribbean continues its active lifestyle orientation with the first zip line at sea on the Oasis of the Seas; on Celebrity’s Solstice class ships, it’s glass blowing from the Corning Museum; Crystal is utilizing cheese sommeliers; and Holland America Line is featuring book discussions on it longer cruises.

For Kids, cruise lines continue to be one of the best family-friendly vacation alternatives, and the kids–only offerings continue to grow. Watch for water-spray parks, more teen-centric facilities even some with Wii systems, separate deck spaces, evening events, and even special shore excursions.

Unusual Itineraries and Ports on cruises in 2009 offer even more opportunities to try something different. Carnival and Royal Caribbean will offer voyages that circumnavigate South America; Celebrity will feature more cruises, itineraries, and home ports in the Eastern United States; and Cunard is adding Western Samoa, Salaha in Oman, and Lima to its ports-of-call. Princess and Holland America Line are adding to their already extensive Alaska shore excursion menu.

Cabins onboard every new ship makes a statement with its largest suites, adding the latest in flat-screen TVs, whirlpools, linens and mattresses, and in-room services. On Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas, the ultimate is the two-story loft, a set of cabins from 545 to 1,524 square feet with a second-story bedroom, guest bathroom, and private balcony. And Holland America Line will feature lanai cabins on its midsized fleet beginning in 2009; these cabins will boast lanai doors that open directly onto the walk-around promenade.

In 2009, expect more of everything, but for far less! The cruise professionals at Cruise Holidays of Marlboro are abreast of the trends, changes, and prices in today’s fluid marketplace. Whether you want to go rock climbing with the kids, wine tasting with friends, or spend a romantic week or two in a luxurious cabin, we can help you find the perfect cruise.
